Custom Artwork

Jerry Krusemark, the President of Barn Burner Products, started in this business as an artist using a wood burning pen to create incredible wildlife, farmsite and other rustic pictures using actual barnwood as his matte.

He has created amazing custom pictures replicating individual farmsites and landscapes.

Kitchen Hutch

We are proud to present our traditional handcrafted furniture The natural aged look, with unique nail holes and weather checking, cannot be matched by any distressed wood process.

This is the real thing - a process that was started nearly a century ago by carpenters who used nothing but handsaws, chisels and hammers. The beauty of reclaimed wood from old barns, granaries and houses is enhanced by the fine quality craftsmanship of the furniture we create at Barn Burner Inc.

We have been in business for 20 years and have gotten into the business of recycling the old barns and using virtually every piece of the barn. We market raw material which is used to create beautiful furniture or to remodel your house. We also create furniture, signs with various sayings etc.

We process and market reclaimed lumber and create handcrafted furniture.

Our products can be found in stores across the United States. We are always looking for new barns to recycle.

We can do custom work on the furniture. Just contact us and we can talk about the options available.

History Chips

Barn Burner's "History Chips" are a new brain storm of founder Jerry Krusemark. If you have read Barn Burner's history you will know that its roots are Jerry Krusemark's wood burnings on mattes he constructed using barnwood siding.

Whenever Jerry found a barn he was able to harvest for his work, it continued to haunt him that there was so much more material he wasn't able to use in his work. He has always loved to examine the structures construction and imagine what it took for the pioneers to create such masterpieces; many of which are massive. Some with beautifully cut rock, block foundations, which even with todays equipment could be a challange to munipulate.

These are some of Jerry's thought processes and interests that have developed what we like to call our History Chips.

Over the past 8 years we have been marketing 9x4 inch barn wood signs to retail stores throughout the country. In doing so we have developed a catalog of expressions, sentiments and readings that number over 2,000.

Jerry thought we could use these readings in another format. Let's tell the story of our Mid West Plains, history from the perspective we see on the farms. These barns have been a very large part of our American agricultural history. They homed the livestock, pets and food for those creatures. These barns served for the hospital and nursery for the animals the farmers nurtured for not only his own families livelyhood and wellbeing also for marketing to the public.

These little "History Chips" are Jerry's way of passing on through a little humor or message the history he grew up with and loves.

The little 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" wood "chip" has a sticker adhered to it with a message you choose printed on a barn wood picture background. The enclosed label has a picture of the barn your wood chip came from and a number so you are able to learn of the history of the barn your chip came from.
